Benefits of Buying Used Srixon Irons

Find an earlier model for less

Buying used opens up earlier Srixon designs alongside more recent releases. Sets such as the I-701 Tour offer a lower-cost route into a traditional players’ iron, while newer models give you more choice over distance and forgiveness.

Choose the help your iron game needs

Srixon offers different head designs for different priorities. Compare the distance and forgiveness of ZXi4, the balance offered by ZXi5, and the compact shape of ZXi7.

Compare different shafts and set makeups

The head model is only part of the choice. A regular graphite build, a lighter steel shaft and a heavier stiff shaft can feel different through the swing. Used stock also lets you compare sets starting at different irons, with some including an approach wedge.

Keep more of your budget for the rest of your bag

An older set can leave room for a used hybrid to replace a difficult long iron, or used wedges to complete your shorter distances. Choose the set around the clubs you need to carry.

How It Works

Every used Srixon iron set listed on Nearly New Golf Clubs is inspected before it goes live on the website. That means you can browse with a clearer view of condition, specification and price before choosing the set that suits your game.

Checked before listing

Each Srixon set is reviewed before being uploaded to the website. The heads, faces, soles, shafts and grips are checked so the listing reflects the clubs’ condition as clearly as possible. Every set is also backed by our authenticity guarantee.

Clear condition grading

We grade the heads, shafts and grips separately so you know what to expect before you buy. Whether a component is mint, very good or good, the aim is to make condition easy to understand before the set reaches your bag.

Compare the right options

Browse by model, shaft flex, set makeup, condition, handedness and price. Compare Srixon sets by the launch, distance and control you need them to provide. If you need a left-handed or ladies-flex set, browse our used left-handed irons and ladies’ iron sets.

What Used Srixon Irons Can You Get for Your Budget?

These examples show what different budgets can buy from our stock. Prices and availability change as individual sets sell.

Around £200

The Srixon I-701 Tour 3–PW set is £199.99 with Dynamic Gold S300 stiff steel shafts. It includes eight clubs at standard length, with heads, shafts and grips all graded 7/10.

This is an option if you prefer a traditional players’ shape and want a full set extending into the long irons. Consider whether you will use the 3 and 4 irons when comparing it with a shorter set.

Around £280

The Srixon Z565 4–PW set is £279.99 with N.S. Pro Zelos 7 stiff steel shafts.

This seven-club set is 0.75 inches longer than standard, with midsize Golf Pride MCC Plus4 grips. Heads, shafts and grips are each graded 6/10. The additional length is a key fitting consideration when comparing it with standard-length stock.

Around £350

The Srixon Z785 5–PW set is £349.99 with N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 120 stiff steel shafts.

These six irons are 0.5 inches longer than standard. Heads and grips are graded 7/10, while shafts are graded 6/10. It is an option for golfers who prefer an earlier Srixon players’ model and have a separate club covering the distance above their 5 iron.

Around £530

The Srixon ZXi5 6–PW set is £529.99 with Recoil 65 F3 regular graphite shafts.

This standard-length, five-club set has 7/10 heads and shafts, with 8/10 grips. It is worth comparing if you want a newer players’ distance design and already use hybrids or fairway woods instead of longer irons.

Around £650

The Srixon ZXiR 5–PW set is £649.99 with KBS Tour Lite stiff steel shafts. It is standard length, with 8/10 heads and 9/10 shafts and grips.

For a different head shape and shaft, the Srixon ZXi7 6–PW plus AW set is £659.99. It has Zelos8 regular steel shafts, standard length and 9/10 grades throughout.

The ZXiR prioritises distance and forgiveness. The ZXi7 offers a compact players’ shape, with an approach wedge included in this particular set.

Around £700

The Srixon ZXi4 5–PW set is £699.99 with SteelFiber i70 regular graphite shafts.

It includes six standard-length irons, with 7/10 heads and 8/10 shafts and grips. Consider this hollow-body model if retaining distance on imperfect contact is a priority.

Used Srixon Iron Buying Guide

Start with the head design

Srixon’s model families offer different levels of assistance. Use the head design to narrow your options, then compare the fitted shafts and set makeup.

Compare lofts as well as club numbers

A 7 iron does not have the same loft across every Srixon family. Factory specifications put the ZXi4 7 iron at 28.5°, ZXi5 at 31° and ZXi7 at 32°.

Those differences affect how you compare distances. Look at carry, height and stopping power together. Check the pitching wedge loft too, particularly if you plan to keep your existing specialist wedges.

Consider a combination set

Srixon designs ZXi4, ZXi5 and ZXi7 to work in combination sets. A blend can give you more assistance in the longer irons and a smaller head in the shorter clubs.

For example, ZXi5 long irons can be paired with ZXi7 short irons. The important check is the carry gap where the models change. Adjacent clubs should produce distinct, useful distances.

Match the shaft to your swing

A compact head does not automatically require a heavy stiff shaft. Our ZXi7 set with Zelos8 regular shafts shows how a players’ head can come with a lighter steel build.

Compare shaft weight, flex and feel alongside length and grip size. If you already have fitting specifications, use them to narrow the available sets.

Try the sole from grass

Srixon’s Tour V.T. Sole uses different sole widths and bounce angles to help the head move through the turf.

Test it from the fairway and rough you normally play. Pay attention to whether the head digs, skips into the ball or moves through the ground comfortably. Mats can make ground-first contact harder to judge.

Choose the set makeup around your bag

A 6–PW set may make sense if hybrids already cover your longer approaches. A 4–PW set gives you more long irons, but those clubs still need to launch high enough to provide useful carry.

At the shorter end, an included AW can help bridge the gap between your pitching wedge and sand wedge. Compare its actual distance with the wedges you already carry.

Srixon Irons Compared with Other Brands

If you are considering Srixon, compare the equivalent type of iron from another brand.

For distance assistance in a relatively compact shape, explore used TaylorMade irons alongside ZXi4 and ZXi5. If feel and a smaller head are your priorities, compare relevant models from our used Mizuno irons and used Titleist irons ranges.

Keep the shaft, length and set makeup in the comparison. Two similarly priced sets can offer different club counts and fitting specifications.

How to Test Your Used Srixon Irons

Use our 30 day returns period to compare your Srixon irons with your current set on the range and course.

• Check your longest iron. Confirm it produces enough height and carry to earn its place above the next club.
• Compare typical strikes. Include ordinary mishits when judging distance consistency.
• Test combination-set transitions. Hit the last club in one model alongside the first club in the next.
• Try the sole from grass. Compare contact from fairway lies, light rough and firmer ground.
• Check approach-shot stopping power. Watch where the ball finishes as well as where it lands.
• Measure your wedge gaps. Compare the pitching wedge and any included AW with your existing wedges.
• Assess the build over a round. Notice whether the shaft weight, length and grip size remain comfortable as you play.

Condition Guide

Every used Srixon iron set is individually checked and graded so you know what to expect before you buy. Heads, shafts and grips receive separate grades, so their condition can differ within the same set.

Shafts and grips: close to new condition when also graded mint

Very good condition

Very good condition Srixon iron heads show light use but remain clean overall.

Soles: small marks from limited play
Backs and toplines: minor cosmetic marks may be visible
Shafts and grips: light signs of use when also graded very good

Good condition

Good condition Srixon iron heads show normal signs of play but remain fully usable.
Faces and soles: visible marks from regular use
Backs and toplines: cosmetic marks or bag chatter may be visible
