Released in 2019, Titleist T100 irons, are built with a forged construction and little offset, so they will work best for consistent ball strikers with a single-digit handicap or better. The technology and construction behind the Titleist T100 irons delivers Tour-like performance, both in terms of shot workability and feel, in a shallow cavity design.
Three-time major champion Jordan Spieth, among many other Titleist staff professionals, put the new T100 irons in his bag immediately when they became available. The irons are progressively built with more game-improvement characteristics in the longer irons to provide golfers with added forgiveness when they need it, while maintaining workability and precision with the shorter clubs.
Titleist used a spring steel body to construct the longer irons in the set (3-iron through 6-iron) to promote slightly more face flexing at impact. Meanwhile, Titleist also implemented additional tungsten weighting in the heel and toe areas of the longer irons to add forgiveness on off-center strikes. Throughout the set, golfers will find that the compact clubhead shape produces excellent workability and pleasing aesthetics. The T100 irons include thin toplines and sole widths with slight offset, resulting in a look that pleases the eye of a consistent ball striker.
