The TaylorMade Stealth 2 HD Driver is building on the speed producing success of the original Stealth HD Driver.

Historically, draw bias drivers have not been forgiving – as the higher CG needed to create the necessary spin led to a lower MOI. Stealth 2 HD flips this design convention on its head, delivering draw-bias with a stable feel and the highest MOI of any driver in the Stealth family.

For the last 20 years, Titanium was all the rage, but TaylorMade have always known that every material has a limit. So, they started pushing the boundaries and now they’re leaving the old race behind to begin a completely new one. A race that drives beyond the here and now to raise the bar for what’s possible.

The future of driver continues with the new 60X Carbon Twist Face in Stealth 2 HD. Featuring an advanced version of Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) to help maintain ball speed on off-centre strikes and increase forgiveness. It weighs 24g (2g lighter than the original Stealth HD face) and is designed to have an expanded COR area for a larger sweet spot and boosted performance across the entire face. The 60X Carbon Twist Face is encased by a polyurethane cover, featuring a revolutionary nanotexture technology. The nanotexture cover is used to fine tune launch and spin to optimise total distance regardless of playing conditions.

Carbon Reinforced Composite Rings unites the driver head into a singular force and frees up additional mass that has been strategically placed to deliver more forgiveness. Designed for speed and forgiveness the corrective tendencies of Twist Face combined with advanced ICT help maintain ball speed and accuracy on off-centre strikes. TaylorMade’s trademark Thru-Slot Speed Pocket is designed to maximise ball speeds and produce additional forgiveness on low-face strikes.

The Asymmetric Inertia Generator creates advanced aerodynamics at the most critical phase of the swing – the moment right before impact. This breakthrough design increases clubhead speeds, while also allowing additional weight to be placed at the rear of the club to encourage higher MOI, optimal launch, and improved forgiveness. It is outfitted with a massive 30g rear weight to optimize MOI and forgiveness.

Fitted as standard with the premium Fujikura Speeder NX Red shaft offering a mid-high ball flight with mid/low spin designed to increase stability at impact.

Rating the condition of golf equipment properly is something we take very seriously at Nearly New. We strive to ensure that our customers are fully satisfied and we take time to individually inspect each club on arrival at our HQ.

Whether you’re looking to buy or sell, we’ve put together our condition ratings guide to help you understand what each condition means. If you have any questions, please do reach out by email and one of our expert team members will get back to you within hours. You can contact us at [email protected]

How we rate our clubs:

Heads

This club will never have been used, it may or may not have the original  wrapper on it. Either way, these clubs will be brand new and will have never hit a golf ball.

The head will be in absolutely top grade condition. It will have hit a maximum of 1 or 2 balls. There may be very minimal signs of  ‘shop wear’. 9/10s are little nuggets of gold, you’ll be buying a basically brand new golf club at a discounted price!

Our clubs rated ‘very good’ will have only been used a handful of times – 2/3rounds at most. Any marks would be very minimal, like our clubs rated 9/10 these resemble the very top end of used golf equipment.

When buying a club rated 7/10, you’ll still be buying a golf club in very good condition. These heads show evidence of play, though have been well looked after. You might find some usual play marks on the face and sole.

We strive to buy top quality golf equipment and rate modestly, therefore this is our most common grading. Our clubs rated ‘fair’ are still in good shape, but will show some cosmetic wear. Marks on the face will be from usual play and our drivers/woods may show some sky marks on the crown.

We don’t buy many well used golf clubs, but if we do we’ll let you know why. These clubs will be in good order, but will show some heavy signs of play. That may be heavy wear marks on the fact or sky marks on the crown. There will be no dents on the club.

Shafts

The shaft will never have been used and there will be no marks at all.

The shaft does not appear to have been used, there may be very small signs of marks from display in pro shops, etc.

The shaft will be in top condition and the club would have been used for a handful of rounds at most. The shaft may show very faint signs of marking.

The shafts themselves are in good order! There may be some slight marking and one or two of the stickers may be slightly frayed..

These shafts are in good order but there will be some cosmetic wear. Steel shafts could have a few small marks or rust spots and graphite shafts may show some bag wear.

These shafts are still in playable condition but ares showing signs of heavy use. Steel shafts could have heavy rust spots or pitting to the shaft. Graphite shafts could show some heavy bag wear. All purely cosmetic, there will be no actual damage.

Grips

The grip will have never been used and the original packaging may or may not be intact.

The grip will be in absolutely top grade condition. It most probably would have never been used, though the original packaging will not be in place.

The grip will be in great condition, it will feel almost new and would have been used only a handful of times.

The grip will be in good condition, it will feel tacky and there will be no surface wear.

Still plenty of life left in these grips, however some may have started to wear and lose some tackiness.

Any grip under a 6/10 will be replaced.
